Tim began his trading career by trading his own account online focusing on the energies, metals, grains and stock indices.  He then joined a proprietary trading group to trade the U.S. Treasury markets. Later, Tim expanded his trading experience by becoming a Series 3 licensed commodity broker with Lind Waldock.  He recently was a senior market strategist at MF Global before joining RJO Futures in October 2011 as a senior advisor.

As a senior market advisor, Tim shows his clients how to anticipate, recognize and react to both bull and bear market conditions through the use of technical charting and fundamental analysis to help clients manage their risk and reward.

Metals, energies, stock indexes, grains, currencies, treasuries, softs and meats markets using both futures and options.

Tim relies on technical factors when helping his clients getting in and out of trades and looks to the fundamentals to properly manage each trade.

Strengths and Trading Philosophy

Tim is an expert at helping clients understand futures and options trading by relating to clients' past investment experiences.  Tim takes a risk-based approach to helping clients by identifying key price levels and showing clients support and resistance price points so clients know when to enter and exit their trades.  He uses a combination of moving average(s) and market pattern analysis to locate the change in the market trend.
