Stock Indices Recap - 12/16/2016 | RJO Futures

December 16, 2016 9:32AM CST

March S&P finished up 91.6 at 2350, -86.2 off the high and 99.5 up from the low.
March S&P E-Mini closed down 3.25 at 2255.25. This was 5.75 up from the low and 8.75 off the high.

It appeared as if equities lost a little momentum as the week progressed. It is also possible that the trade was becoming a little bored with the hope for positive progression from Washington, especially with old political sniping surfacing regarding a Russian influenced outcome in the US election. Some press outlets were also suggesting that the biggest post-election rally ever might be getting ahead of economic-reality.
