Stock Indices Recap - 3/14/2017

March 14, 2017 3:38PM CDT

June S&P finished down 8.7 at 2363.1, 7.5 off the high and 7.1 up from the low.
June S&P E-Mini closed down 9 at 2362.75. This was 8 up from the low and 8.75 off the high.

After a subdued start, global markets took a negative turn midway through Tuesday's trading session and were unable to regain upside momentum by the close. US equity could not shake off moderate pressure this morning as the Dow Jones and S&P came close to reaching new monthly lows. Energy companies were particularly hard hit in the wake of a sharp selloff in crude oil prices to a new low for their move.
