The precious metals have bounced back from early 2-week lows and are near unchanged levels during Monday’s trading session. Continued strength in the Dollar was a source of early headwinds for gold and silver. However, continued tensions in the Spanish region of Catalonia have ramped-up risk anxiety on both sides of the Atlantic. Both PGM metals remain in negative territory, although short-covering has helped platinum to outperform palladium.
