US equity indices were able to sustain a mildly positive tone over the weekend, but lost some strength as risk sentiment began to wane later in the session. Both the Dow Jones and S&P reached new all-time highs early and while they lost upside momentum, they were able to hold their ground in positive territory. Tech stocks had a rougher start to the week as the NASDAQ could not shake off early pressure until later in the session.
